Why don’t you use some of the common ingredients used by major mineral makeup company such as Zinc Oxide, Methicone and Rice Powder?

 

First of all there are many people who are allergic to Zinc Oxide and the idea of my makeup line is to be as user friendly and healthy as possible. I would like that my makeup could be used by anyone who has even the most sensitive skin.

 

Second, while the majority of people say they are fine with those ingredients, a lot of them also said that their skin breaks out after using them for a period of time. It could very well be that the human body can only take so much of irritants before it reacts violently to it just like how our lungs react to crystalized silica. It doesn’t ruin young lungs immediately and you wouldn’t notice the damage it has done until you get sick after a period of time. Therefore in our ingredients we only use what is the safest for the skin while still being able to create the most natural yet stunning finish.

Also, when necessary we replace traditional ingredients which are tolerable with even better and healthier alternatives. For example, we use a special organic root powder to replace rice powder. In short, we strive to make our products as natural, safe and healthy as possible while still being able to perform fabulously.
